Salary: Starting salary range, (DOE) £35,000- 38,000 

Location: Bristol and Exeter (hybrid working – working from home three days per week, with the other two days in the Bristol or Exeter office – depending on your location)

Role summary

We are looking for a dynamic, creative and experienced Senior Account Manager with a passion for working with positive impact brands in the tech sector.

A fast-growing agency, based in Exeter and Bristol, Program is offering a talented Senior Account Manager the opportunity to work with a great mix of regional and national visionary tech clients in a busy and collaborative marketing agency.

Job description: 

As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key accounts in the technology sector, predominantly B2B. You will work closely with clients to understand their business objectives, develop marketing strategies, and execute campaigns that generate leads and drive revenue. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies that align with clients’ business objectives 
  • Oversee the execution of campaigns and projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard
  • Work  closely with creative and digital teams to deliver projects and campaigns
  • Work across a range of campaign activities that span media relations, content creation, social media, influencer outreach, events, brand development and marketing communications.
  • Build and maintain excellent  relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring their satisfaction with our services
  • Form a deep understanding of the issues affecting our clients’ businesses and the sectors in which they operate
  • Support the leadership team with new business, pitching and proposal writing
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and share insights with clients and internal teams
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services to clients
  • Leading client meetings and presentations.
  • Contributing to the development of the team and agency
  • Manage the overall profitability of client accounts
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the account management team
  • Compile analytics and data for client reports

What we are looking for…

  • Five plus years experience in a marketing/ communications managerial role, either inhouse or agency
  • Experience of working with tech clients or for a tech organisation as part of an in house marketing team. 
  • A sociable, positive and enthusiastic person with a flexible approach to work
  • An excellent team player who can work well with others and thrives on collaboration and seeing everyone in the team succeed
  • Proven ability to manage team members
  • Experience of delivering excellent performance across every aspect of client work
  • Significant experience in managing professional client relationships
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
  • Good understanding of the latest digital, marketing trends and tech sector innovations and trends
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to think strategically and take the initiative
  • Confident at dealing with Board level members of client teams/running high level meetings and networking
  • An eye for spotting opportunities and the ability to translate them into campaigns 
  • Full of creative ideas that can be translated into an actionable, and measurable, results-driven campaigns
  • In possession of exceptional writing skills and the ability to tailor your style to suit a variety of clients, sectors or platforms
  • Confident at presenting and pitching to clients
